Day 1:Arrival in Paro
visit Paro dzong and Ta dzong, housing some of the ancient scriptures and relics
discover Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temple built in 7 century.
overnight in Paro
Day 2 drive towards capital of Bhutan,Thimphu
Visit the iconic Buddha dordenma, a massive golden statue overlooking Thimphu valley
Explore folk heritage museum and national textile museum for rich cultural insights
visit motithang sanctuary or famously called takin zoo to witness one of the unique animal known to Himalayas and known as the national animal of Bhutan
overnight in Thimphu
Day 3 Thimphu to Punakha
On the way to Punakha visit 108 stupas, built in honor of Bhutanese heroes
Explore Punakha dzong, Bhutan’s beautiful fortress
Visit fertility temple or chimi lhakhang ,well known for blessing prosperity and children.
later in the evening walk across a suspension bridge to grasp in the beauty of a remote village across Pho chhu/Male river.

Day 4 drive towards Phobjikha
Drive along the beautiful winding road through mixed coniferous forest to a beautiful village of Phobjikha, where potatoes grows in abundance and a endangered species of crane(Black Necked Crane) roosts in their hundreds during winter for almost 3 months.
visit a temple built in Tibetan style by the 17 re incarnation Guru Gangtey Trulku
Visit crane centre to gather more information about the Black Necked Crane.
Enjoy a short nature hike
Overnight in Phobjikha.
Day 5 Phobjikha to Paro
Retrace the road towards Paro and try to stop in a local nunnery for some Buddhist insights
visit a traditional farmhouse in Paro to try the hospitality of a Bhutanese host, with a butter tea and a dinner at a farmhouse and don’t forget to try out the hotstone bath especially after the hike to tiger nest.
Day 6
start early for the hike to the highlight of Bhutans trip,locally known as Taktshang or tiger nest.Built around 1692 by a local leader at that time after it was blessed by Guru Padmasambhava in 8th century.
Evening you can stroll around the town or take a break for delectable coffee, brewed and roasted and locally grown in southern Bhutan.
Day 7
Transfer to the Paro international airport for deaprture,taking nothing but the best of merories.
